the month of may means more aural diversions. from the 1st to the 31st of the month LustrousChemistry will have a mixtape featured on the mixtape club. the mixtape club is an organization dedicated to the art of the mixtape. each month ten people choose ten tracks and create an album cover. there are some top notch mixes on there so I'm very glad to be part of it.

I have just uploaded a new LC mix called 'blown' to the sound page. it's an agressive mix of psyched-up fevered guitars and lo-fi garage blues. hopefully you will enjoy it, in the way you might a bad dream.

these mixes and soundscapes will become a regular occurence so check back in a month or two for the next instalment.

from 19th january until 2nd february I will have a piece of work on show as part of the randomly modular exhibition socle. the work has been created specifically for this exhibition to randomly genterated height and width dimensions, and is displayed alongside similarly modular work by 29 other artists. more information and directions can be found here http://www.facebook.com/event

I am excited to be exhibiting at cecil sharp house in london, which is reknowned for being the home of the english folk song and dance society. the exhibition called flash company is being put on by artist in residence matthew cowan and will feature work from a diverse range of national and international artists including billy childish, alan kane, cathy lomax, matt stokes and bishi. all works use a humble handkerchief as the starting point and will explore its rich historical and social history. click here for more info.
