this 26 point paper construction was built as a reaction to the emptiness of the "lack". the star's rays radiate centrally, so in a reduced way, point in all directions; it's "everything" contrasting with the lack's "nothing". but just as the the lack's nothing is "something", the star's something is also "nothing".
